Um... I think something about the programming on this game is a bit broken. No matter what I do the ball just goes horizontally, it should bounce a different direction depending on where I hit it with the paddle. Right now it just stays on the center line moving right, left, right, left; it's got no vertical movement whatsoever. Even if I try to hit it with the corner of my paddle it still just bounces due east again.
The graphics were good though, and so was the programming aside from what I described above, so that at least gets you three stars.

Really great. Simple, yet effective. Great gameplay, good powerups, good enough graphics.
I only have a few gripes:
Speeding up and jumping also makes you fall faster, thus negating the benefit.
You fall into the water just by touching it, rather than actually walking off into it.
That's all. Great work.

Random bloody violence, pretty boring IMO.
I don't mean to be overly cruel; I'm just sick of seeing videos on NG that think they can be funny simply by having random fuzzy animals get killed by a buzzsaw. Violence has its place in humor, but too many movies I see rely SOLELY on gore.
The sad part is, that so many people seem to like this kind of thing. I personally don't get it, and I'm just fine with that.
Not a bad job of animating, though. I just wish the story and comedy were different/better.

Sprite movies are really overdone, so it really takes something special/new to even get a "good" rating anymore. This one was really predictable, and where it wasn't predictable it went places everyone else has already gone.
Here's what most Sonic sprite movies do. Just replace "Sonic" with "Knuckles" and, no offense, but that's what you have here:
Sonic is battling Shadow/Metal Sonic/Mario/Etc. Sonic gets his butt kicked, flies offscreen. We hear nothing from Sonic for a few moments, then he reappears in his Super form and proceeds to destroy Shadow/Metal/Mario/Etc. Then something happens that sets up a sequel.
Please, if you're going to make another "episode" to this, do something that hasn't been seen a hundred times over.
Also, I am aware that knuckles does indeed turn pinkish when he becomes super; but the shade you chose isn't right. It's supposed to be pink as in, "light red", not "bright purple". Otherwise it looks too girly.

This was a really fun game; the graphics were just okay, but everything else was pretty darn good.
The problem with these types of games though, is this. You made the upgrade system really well; I found myself having a lot of fun collecting cash from the enemies and buying upgrades. The rest of the game was done well, too. The problem, is that because you did a good job with the mechanics, it was really a disappointment when the game ended after 4 levels.
So in other words, if you're going to make a good game like this, make it longer ;)

Excellent game. But how am I supposed to get 6000 feet on the last one??? My best is only 5100....
Some tips would be nice...

It's not very good. I know this was probably meant to be some sort of political statement, but honestly, it's on newgrounds, it's marked as a game, so it should be fun. Which it really isn't...
The hit boxes should've been more isometric--that is, the keys shouldn't free the prisoners just because the two sprites collided. If I was significantly closer to the screen (which would look lower) then keys shouldn't free the prisoners for hitting their feet when in actuality the key would have gone past the prisoner because of the difference in their z coordinate/depth.
And, of course, there's the problem that it's repetitive and uninteresting. But again, I can see you were trying to be political, so you probably didn't pay much attention to the function of the game itself. But could have done both; for example you could have added other characters like Al Gore, George Bush, Dick Cheney with a rifle, etc.

Fine for a first game, but I never like judging games to be better than they are just because it's someone's first one.
First off, the walls are too "thick", even though they have thin lines. What I mean is, the walls report a collision even when you don't actually hit them.
However, the biggest flaw in this game (aside from the right-click cheat) is the fact that when you die, you start the entire game over. Not good. In a game like this, you NEVER want to kick the player all the way back to the start of the entire game for a single mistake. That's like expelling someone for missing one test.
It's a fine start, but needs improvements. Over the course of your game making, you will start to pick up these important elements of game design, both through personal insight and through reviews. Just keep posting stuff and you'll get better.
