Why are you still on newgrounds? Making this quality of music, shouldn't you be out there getting professional jobs?? Haha. Great work, of course.

The arrangement itself is good, but the piano just sounds a bit dull, or like the dynamics were flattened in some way. Maybe an e/q issue?
Anyways, the part when the drums pick up was unexpected but nice.
No big complaints the whole way through, other than the issue with the piano's dynamics.
I really do like the arrangement you have at the beginning of the piece. In fact I could have listened to an entire piece based off of just that (without drums or bass coming in). But again, what you've got is enjoyable, so good work.

Great stuff, great stuff. The strings sound a little too synth-y, but for a classic song it's not such a bad thing.
I like how you set the guitar to be a little more mellow for this. I almost want to say it could be a tad more so; sounds like there's just a little bit of stray distortion.
Other than that, arrangement+mixing+mastering sounds good. Good job!

I'm getting down to this. Not sure what game it's from (if it's from a game), but listening to it I like the rhythms and of course the guitar is great as always. The trumpets are a nice touch.
So yeah what game is this from?
(10/10 5/5 btw)
Author's Response:
thanks bro!
Also it's from Street fighter!

I like what you did here. The synth choir in the background was quite interesting. My main beef though is that the background is way too overtaken by the lead synth. I'd make the lead synth MUCH softer and then bring up the entire piece.
Also you have a number of off-key notes, you should go through the music and fix them because they really bring down the rest of what you've got here.
By the way, "infinity Mijinion" is the japanese name for the robot master, which they never changed in that game. In English it was supposed to have been "Infinite Flea".

I've actually never played megaman 9 (-_- lol). So unfortunately I don't have the original song in my mind to compare this to, but that's not a huge problem.
From what I can hear, the guitar work is once again really great and makes the piece. Drums might be a little soft from what I can tell; the guitar overtakes them at times and they get a little difficult to hear. That's really my only beef though, and not enough to detract from 10 stars/5 rating!
Author's Response:
Greatly appreciate it! Yeah the drums always seem to be my weakness on songs. I've had to redo a few songs completely just because I've had the drums disappear or just becoming overpowering lol.
Glad you liked man!

More great work from you. You play this really well, and that's a big complement considering I've heard this played so many times by so many people. Yours is probably the first I've ever downloaded though.
All around great music. Perfect score from me.

This has got to be one of my favorite Megaman X-series songs...I didn't realize what it was going to be when I first clicked on it, then I heard it start and I had one of those OH HELL YEAH moments. XD
Your work is really great, and especially done well here the way you play the main theme. Melody sounds great too. Hope to hear a lot more from you and your guitar! (Gave you a 5 rating BTW)
Author's Response:
Thanks man. Glad someone else loves this song!
I loved the Megaman X3 game probably the most of all the series, but when it comes to the music, X6 can't be beat. I'm actually trying to figure out some of the music.
Either way, glad you liked it!
(btw I just voted positive on your review :P )

I'm not familiar with fruity loops, but it sounds like you have some sort of ducking going on because whenever an instrument starts playing all the other ones seem to get softer in pulsations esp. with the drums, which is a little distracting.
I would have also like a stronger lead. The one you have currently gets overtaken by the background pretty easily.
It's not a bad mix, but not really perfect yet either.
Author's Response:
Yeah, Im not exactly sure how to fix that, but I did notice after I get 3 or 4 patterns playing at the same time they became a bit softer. Might remake this in the future if I can find the problem.

I like what you've done here. My only criticism is that the drums are a bit mechanical and repetitive, and at time it sounds like they go off beat.
Author's Response:
Hey,
yeah they do go off beat but i didnt have time to fix this as i wanted to get a feel as what people thought.
i will be changing the drums n fixing the timing today.
thx ;)
